All visiting pets must be current on vaccinations (Rabies, DAPPV, Bordatella and Leptospirosis), well-socialized and free of health concerns. They should also be up to date with flea/tick preventative care and have appropriate identification with collars/tags.
For their own health and safety, pets should be at least 6 months old to attend.

Please fill out the presale form here to receive the ticket link as soon as it is released.
Option 1: Purchase online from Ticketmaster. Due to fees imposed by Ticketmaster, please be sure to check your final total as it will be greater than just the amount the KC Pet Fest advertises. Discounts will not be available online since valid identification is required to receive these discounts.
Option 2: Purchase at the door on the day of the event at the American Royal. The lobby will open 30 minutes before the event opens each day. We will stop selling tickets one hour before the event closes each day.
Option 3: Tickets can be purchased and picked up before the event at the Municipal Auditorium Box Office 10 AM – 5 PM Monday-Friday.

Ticketmaster adds its own processing and service fees on top of the base ticket price set by the KC RV Show. These fees are standard and compulsory for their platform and go toward maintaining their own system. Sadly, the KC Pet Fest doesn’t have control over these fees.
If you would prefer to save on these fees, we recommend purchasing tickets in person whenever possible — you’ll get the same great access to the show without the extra Ticketmaster fees.

When pets feel stressed, they "speak" through subtle shifts in body language. If you notice these behaviors, please remove your pet from crowded and loud spaces, find one of our Zen Zones or your car, and give them space. Move our dog away from the trigger (crowds/people, other dogs, noise); even a few steps can reduce stress. Finding a calmer, quieter area can also help your pet decompress – you'll know you’ve gone far enough when they’re no longer showing the signs of stress listed below.
Dogs
Eyes: "Whale eye" (showing whites) or looking away to avoid confrontation.
Mouth: Persistent lip licking or panting while at rest.
Body: Tail tucked between legs and ears pinned flat against the skull.
Action: Moving away or "freezing" under your touch.
Cats
Eyes: Hard squinting or pupils dilated so large the eyes look black.
Mouth: Quick "tongue flicks" over the nose after being touched.
Body: Tail thumping or twitching; ears rotated outward like "airplane wings."
Action: Rippling skin on the back or leaning their head away from your hand.
Birds
Eyes: "Pinning" (rapidly shrinking and growing pupils).
Mouth: Clicking the beak or air-biting toward you.
Body: Slicking feathers tight to the body to look thin; crest (if applicable) held tight or very high.
Action: Shifting weight to the back foot or leaning away from an approaching hand.
-
Only one pet should be registered and accompanied with one adult human. If you have multiple pets in your party, each pet needs to be accompanied by a different adult human (e.g. two pets will need to be accompanied by two adult humans).
-
Potty areas, water bowls, stocked cleaning stations, and limited zen zones will be provided.
